Conference registration has been extended to Jan. 28 for those interested in attending the Alabama Fruit and Vegetable Growers Association Conference (AFVGA), slated for Feb. 14-16 in Gulf Shores, Alabama.
The registration price of $200 covers all planned meal functions, breaks, breakouts and general sessions.
The conference will be held at The Lodge at Gulf State Park. Educational sessions, workshops, trade show, farm tours and an AFVGA family luau are scheduled as part of this year’s event.
Those interested in attending can click here to register. Reservations for lodging at Gulf State Park are processed through the Central Reservations Department at 800-618-4350. Reservations should be booked by Jan. 28.
Open House Farm Tours will be conducted on Feb. 14, and the trade show will open on Feb. 15. An agenda can be found here.
“AFVGA is a group of farmers in Alabama that comes together as a community to dream big about what can happen in Alabama. That’s what we’re trying to accomplish as an association,” said Blake Thaxton, executive director of the AFVGA.
