AgNet Media has merged two of its print brands to create a new magazine — Specialty Crop Grower. The magazine will serve growers of fruit and vegetable crops in the Southeast. The publication’s digital home will be SpecialtyCropGrower.com.
In 2022, AgNet Media purchased Florida Grower, a 116-year-old magazine with a loyal following among the state’s specialty crop producers. Florida Grower joined AgNet Media’s other publications, Citrus Industry and Specialty Crop Industry.
The purchase of Florida Grower and the continued increase in specialty crop production in the Southeast led to the decision to merge Florida Grower and Specialty Crop Industry. While both magazines and their associated websites were strong platforms, Specialty Crop Grower will offer even more value to its audiences in Florida, Georgia, Alabama and the Carolinas.
Citrus Industry magazine, another historic brand with more than 100 years of publication, will continue to serve citrus growers in Florida and other citrus-producing states with enhanced circulation and editorial focus. Visit CitrusIndustry.net to learn more about this publication.
