Attention industry leaders who want to be more involved in the Florida Fruit and Vegetable Association (FFVA). Such individuals need to consider the FFVA Emerging Leader Development Program, administered by the Florida Specialty Crop Foundation.
The application period for Class 13 is currently open, though applications are due by Friday, June 16.
More than 100 participants have graduated from the program since 2011. It develops leaders to be strong advocates for Florida agriculture. Graduates have a track record of making lasting contributions to the industry and enhancing their careers.
The program will start in October, includes meetings with legislators and state officials in Tallahassee, Florida, visits to specialty crop production areas in Florida and California and seminars provided by FFVA staff members and other experts.
