The Citrus and Specialty Crop Expo is a little more than a week away for those growers in Florida, Georgia and Alabama planning to attend. The pre-registration deadline is just days away, however.
Josh McGill, show director for AgNet Media, discussed why interested attendees should go ahead and register ahead of the event.
“We’re super excited for this year’s show. Registration will be closing on (Friday) Aug. 11 at noon. We encourage any growers to go ahead and get online and pre-register to make sure that they’re eligible to win a John Deere gun safe provided by Everglades Equipment,” McGill said. “There will be on-site registration, but if you wait to register on site, you will not be eligible to win. We encourage all growers to go the website at citrusexpo.net and pre-register before Friday at noon.”
This year’s Expo is scheduled for Aug. 16-17 at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa, Florida. It will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Aug. 16 and from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Aug. 17.
