Chilean Ag Trade Mission

Wednesday, July 5 is the final day for applications from anyone wanting to apply with the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) to be a part of its agricultural trade mission to Chile scheduled for late September.

Brooke Jameson, foreign agricultural service associate administrator, highlighted the mission’s importance during an interview with the USDA.

“U.S. agricultural exports to Chile and Peru have been a $1 billion in the last year, and there’s room for additional trade in those countries,” Jameson said.

The trip will occur during the last week in September, from Sept. 25 to 29. It will include business to business meetings with potential importers from Chile and neighboring country Peru.
