It is never too early to start thinking about and planning for next year’s Southeast Regional Fruit and Vegetable Conference, scheduled for Jan. 11-14, 2024, in Savannah, Georgia.
The event attracts specialty crop growers and industry leaders from Florida, Georgia, Alabama and the Carolinas. Educational sessions focus on various fruit and vegetable commodities, including blueberries, peaches, watermelons and organics.
Next year’s event will mark the 22nd year for the South’s premier fruit and vegetable show. Chris Butts, executive vice president of the Georgia Fruit and Vegetable Growers Association, is already excited for what it is in store for next year’s show.
“We’re so excited this year. It’s a great event. Much like Ag Labor that has such wide support across the industry, we’ve got a great partnership with the Peach Council and all of our exhibitors. We’re blessed to once again have a sold-out show,” Butts said. “And also, our education partners that are putting together a tremendous program. We’re well under way developing that education program. You’ll start to see registration open soon and more announcements about the programming and the exciting events that we’ve got lined up for this year.”
