It is never too early to start thinking about the 2026 Alabama Fruit and Vegetable Growers Association (AFVGA) Conference and Tradeshow, scheduled for Feb. 4-6, 2026, in Gulf Shores, Alabama. The three-day event will be held at The Lodge at Gulf State Park.
The theme for next year’s show is “Game Plan for Growth: Team AFVGA.” AFVGA Executive Director Blake Thaxton said the theme is a testament to the fruit and vegetable growers’ resiliency.
“Football is a big deal in Alabama, so we felt this theme would really resonate since the conference falls near the Super Bowl,” Thaxton said. More important, it reflects the spirit of teamwork that the AFVGA members have. Our fruit and vegetable farmers work together to bring fresh produce to consumers, grow the industry and strengthen the association. I hope this year’s conference creates even more opportunities for connection and collaboration as we continue growing the AFVGA family.”
Registration will open in November at AFVGA.org.
