Registration is officially open for this year’s Citrus and Specialty Crop Expo, scheduled for Aug. 21-22 at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa, Florida.

The two-day event, hosted by AgNet Media, provides vital information for both the citrus and specialty crop industries, while also allowing attendees to interact with tradeshow vendors that will be in attendance.

Josh McGill, show director for AgNet Media, discussed the show which is less than three months away.

“We’ve went ahead and opened registration a little early this year. We’re going back to Tampa, and we realize with the addition of specialty crops in the last few years, we’re seeing a lot more growers coming from up in North Florida, Georgia and Alabama. We wanted to get registration open and get it in front of the growers a little sooner, so they’ll have a little bit more time to plan a trip down to sunny Tampa,” McGill said. “We’re looking forward to another show at the Florida State Fairgrounds and hope that people can come down, soak up some sun, learn some things at the Expo and visit with exhibitors at the tradeshow. I think it’s going to be a good show this year, and we’re excited to see it come together again.”

Those interested in attending can click here to register. Pre-registration will close Friday, Aug. 16 at 11:59 a.m. Complimentary registration is available for commercial growers, commercial grove owners, commercial grove managers, certified crop advisers, grower association executives, government, legislative and universities.
