Registration is ongoing for the upcoming Citrus and Specialty Crop Expo, scheduled for Aug. 16-17. This year’s two-day event will be held in a new location, at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa, Florida.
Josh McGill, show director for AgNet Media, discussed the excitement surrounding this year’s Expo, which starts with its new location.
“We’re super excited about the new venue in Tampa. I think it’s going to offer a better, more refreshed environment for the growers. It’s going to have larger seminar space for both the citrus side as well as the vegetable and specialty crop side of the seminar, so we’re excited about that,” McGill said. “Also, there will be a little bit bigger tradeshow area. Moving locations gave us an opportunity to rework the tradeshow a little more, create a better flow and spread things out a little bit better for the growers and exhibitors.
“We’re really excited about the new venue and welcome people to Tampa and the Southeast.”
The Expo will be held from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Aug. 16 and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Aug. 17. Information about this year’s seminars will be released at a later date.
