Revenue Protection

Growers who are interested in the Whole-Farm Revenue Protection policy and are late fiscal year filers have until Nov. 20 to apply for crop insurance. Current policyholders who wish to make changes to their existing coverage also have until the Nov. 20 sales closing date to do so.

Coverage is available for blueberries grown in Alachua, Citrus, De Soto, Hardee, Hernando, Highlands, Hillsborough, Lake, Marion, Orange, Pasco, Polk, Putnam and Sumter counties. Coverage is available for Whole-Farm Revenue Protection in all Florida counties.

Growers should visit with their crop insurance agent soon to learn specific details for the 2024 crop year.

Crop insurance is sold and delivered solely through private crop insurance agents. A list of crop insurance agents is available at all USDA Service Centers and online at the RMA Agent Locator. Learn more about crop insurance and the modern farm safety net at rma.usda.gov.
