One of AgNet Media’s award-winning journalists added another award to his collection earlier this month.
Clint Thompson, a senior multimedia journalist who has worked with AgNet Media since 2020, was presented the Mass Media Award by the University of Georgia Cooperative Extension at its annual meeting of Georgia Association of County Agricultural Agents in Augusta, Georgia, on Nov. 14.
“It is always humbling and appreciative to be recognized for your work, especially in an industry like agriculture that means so much, not only to the Southeast but across the world,” Thompson said. “I am thankful for the recognition from UGA Extension and will continue to do my best in communicating the message of agriculture.”
Thompson worked as a public relations coordinator at the UGA Tifton Campus from 2013 to 2019.
