Georgia agriculture will be under the spotlight next week at the Sunbelt Ag Expo, scheduled for Oct. 14-16, in Moultrie, Georgia.
Georgia will be this year’s Spotlight State, which allows Sunbelt attendees to visit the Spotlight State building and learn more about Georgia agriculture, the state’s No. 1 industry.
“The Spotlight State is the hometown, the great state of Georgia. All roads lead to Georgia Grown. We’re looking forward to showcasing Georgia agriculture to the world that comes to the Expo,” said Chip Blalock, Sunbelt Ag Expo executive director.
Attendees can visit the Spotlight State building during all three days of the event. There will be a special ribbon cutting at the building on Tuesday, Oct. 14, at 10:45 a.m. to recognize Georgia as this year’s Spotlight State.
Show hours are scheduled for 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Oct. 14-15, and from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Oct. 16.
