It is the holiday season which means the Southeast Regional Fruit and Vegetable Conference is just around the corner. Next year’s conference, which attracts producers and industry specialists from Georgia, Florida, Alabama and the Carolinas, will be held in Savannah, Georgia, on Jan. 8-10, 2026.

Chris Butts

Chris Butts, executive vice president of the Georgia Fruit and Vegetable Growers Association (GFVGA), expressed excitement when talking about the event next year.

“We’re so excited about innovation row and all of the new technology that will be focusing and a curated experience as you walk in the door. We’re going to take you through the latest and the greatest in ag technology,” Butts said. “Then when you get inside the tradeshow floor, another 250 exhibitors. Trying to bring more value to our attendees, trying to bring in the latest and greatest in technology that will make farming operations more profitable for them.

“More vendors this year, more classes this year, more displays this year. Bigger and better, a little more of everything.”

Regular registration will continue through Jan. 6, while on-site registration will be held from Jan. 8-10.

Next year’s conference will featured educational sessions that focus on 16 different commodities, including blueberries, citrus, peaches, strawberries, vegetables and watermelons.
