It is never too early to start thinking about and planning for next year’s Citrus & Specialty Crop Expo, especially after the success of this year’s event.

Southeast farmers and industry leaders can go ahead and mark their calendars for next year’s Citrus & Specialty Crop Expo, scheduled for Aug. 4-5, 2027.

Citrus and specialty crop growers, along with vendors and industry specialists, flocked to the Caloosa Sound Convention Center and Luminary Hotel in Fort Myers, Florida, for this year’s expo event. It marked the first time the Citrus & Specialty Crop Expo was held in Fort Myers since 2022.

“The return to Fort Myers for the Citrus & Specialty Crop Expo was undoubtedly a success this year. We were thankful to hear from vendors and attendees this year that praised the show and its new venue. We believe that the Expo has found a place we can call home for years to come, and we are excited to announce next year’s Expo dates and want everyone to go ahead and mark their calendars,” said Morgan Assaf, show organizer with AgNet Media.

The show allows citrus, fruit and vegetable farmers to hear from university specialists about ongoing research being conducted and other trends impacting their day-to-day farming operations. These presentations are provided in two different seminar halls.

The tradeshow was once again a highlight of this year’s event, allowing vendors to interact with farmers and continue forging working relationships.

The Expo was held in Tampa from 2023-2025.
