Florida blueberry growers and industry specialists are reminded that this year’s Florida Blueberry Growers Association (FBGA) Fall Meeting and Trade Show is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 15, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Bonnet Springs Park Event Center in Lakeland, Florida.
There will be industry updates, expert speakers, grower networking and a trade show featuring multiple vendors.
This year’s event will start with a trade show at 8 a.m. followed by a series of presentations, starting at 9 a.m. The featured presentations will include talks centered on the 2026 crop season, Farm Service Agency updates for producers, blueberry breeding, chilli thrips, pruning practice as a freeze recovery tool, anthracnose management and grafted plants.
Florida Strawberry Growers Association Executive Director Kenneth Parker is also scheduled to talk about how Florida strawberry growers won a preliminary commerce ruling on imports from Mexico.
