Florida fruit and vegetable farmers are reminded that registration for the 52nd annual Agricultural Labor Relations Forum will close on Friday, July 31.
The Florida Specialty Crop Foundation presents the forum every year, which is slated for Aug. 12-14 at the Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek in Orlando, Florida.
Every year the forum informs agricultural employers, which includes producers, shippers, contractors, on compliance with labor laws. This year’s forum will include a special session with representatives from the U.S. Department of State on consular processing. Agricultural labor attorneys will also lead sessions on navigating government audits and recent legal developments with the H-2A program.
Additional sessions will highlight the Adverse Effect Wage Rate along with other critical issues pertinent to the agricultural industry.
Florida Fruit and Vegetable Association (FFVA) members are encouraged to contact FFVA Labor Relations Manager Priyanka Jagtap with questions about the event.
