
Florida tomato farmers and industry specialists should mark their calendars for the Florida Tomato Conference, scheduled for Sept. 10 and Sept. 17.
The conference will start with the Food Safety Workshop/T-Gap Renewal on Thursday, Sept. 10, scheduled from noon to 5 p.m. at the Gulf Coast Research and Education Center in Wimauma, Florida.Click here to register. Registration for the Food Safety Workshop/T-Gap Renewal is $50. The registration deadline is Tuesday, Sept. 1.
The conference will continue a week later on Sept. 17 with the Florida Tomato Institute: Industry and Research Updates. It will be held at the John Boy Auditorium in Clewiston, Florida. Click here to register. Registration for the Florida Tomato Institute is free for tomato growers and $50 for general attendees. The registration deadline is Tuesday, Sept. 8.
All registrations after the deadline will incur a $50 late fee.
