The Southeast Regional Fruit and Vegetable Conference is two months away for those in Georgia, Florida and Alabama interested in attending.
After last year’s conference was held virtually due to COVID-19, the Georgia Fruit and Vegetable Growers Association (GFVGA) is excited about the show’s return in Savannah, Georgia on Jan. 6-9, 2022, says Charles Hall, GFVGA executive director.
“We’re looking forward to another great Southeast Regional and feel like we’ll have a lot of grower support coming back to Savannah this year,” Hall said. “Our message to our growers is, the Hyatt is already full. The other hotels that we have in our block with discounted rooms will fill up soon. If we need to add more hotels, we’re working on looking at that.”
The four-day conference will feature speakers from the University of Georgia College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, Auburn University, University of Florida, North Carolina State University, East Carolina, University of Arkansas, University of Tennessee, Clemson University, Michigan State, Virginia Tech, Fort Valley State, University of Delaware and various industry leaders.
