It is never too early for fruit and vegetable growers in the Southeast to start thinking about next year’s Southeast Regional Fruit and Vegetable Conference.
Registration is currently under way for the three-day event, scheduled for Jan. 8-10, 2026 at the Savannah Convention Center in Savannah, Georgia.
Georgia Fruit and Vegetable Growers Association (GFVGA) Director of Operations Jennifer Walls discussed the conference and what attendees can expect at the event.
“Registration opened for Southeast Regional on Sept. 15. We will have our 14 commodity conferences again; across the board, precision ag, vegetable, onion, blueberry, all of our normal ones. We’ll have an expanded trade show this year,” Walls said. “The Savannah Convention Center has finally completed their expansion. We won’t be using the entire new show space. We’ll be strategic with how we grow. But that does mean we have brought back lunches down to the tradeshow floor. We’ll be on the tradeshow floor with the exhibitors, so we’re excited about that.”
The event includes growers from across the Southeast, like Georgia, Florida, Alabama, South Carolina and North Carolina. There are different ways to register, including full conference, Thursday only, Friday only, Saturday only and trade show only. Early registration for full conference is $275, with regular/on-site registration is $325.
Early-bird registration ends Dec. 12, with regular registration slated for Dec. 13-Jan. 6.
