(FBGA) — The Office of the United States Trade Representative, the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the United States Department of Commerce will hold public hearings in Florida (April 7) and Georgia (April 9) to discuss foreign trade policies that may be harming American growers of seasonal and perishable produce. At the hearings, officials from the federal agencies will hear from interested persons on how the Trump administration can support these producers and redress any unfair harm.
The field hearings are scheduled for the following dates and locations:
- Tuesday, April 7 at 9:00 a.m.:Â Grimes Family Agricultural Center, 2508 W. Oak Avenue, Plant City, Florida
- Thursday, April 9 at 9:00 a.m.:Â Rainwater Conference Center, 1 Meeting Place, Valdosta, Georgia
